Personal Data Processing
SIA BESTBERRY collects, processes, stores, shares, deletes and protects the customer’s personal data on the basis of the General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 and other regulatory enactments in force in the Republic of Latvia.
In accordance with the effective regulatory enactments that govern the personal data processing system, SIA BESTBERRY observes the following principles:
SIA BESTBERRY processes personal data legally and in good faith;
The processing of received personal data is performed for specific purposes;
The personal data received are adequate and relevant;
The personal data received is accurate;
The personal data received is not stored longer than necessary and is destroyed upon reaching the set purpose;
SIA BESTBERRY processes personal data in compliance with the rights of private persons;
SIA BESTBERRY ensures safe storage of personal data;
SIA BESTBERRY does not provide the received personal data to other companies, ensuring secure, adequate protection, on the basis of and in compliance with the laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Latvia and the General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679.
Privacy policy
The privacy policy applies to the processing of each customer’s personal data and the service offered to the customer. The privacy policy provides information on how SIA BESTBERRY collects, processes, stores, shares, deletes and protects the customer’s personal data. SIA BESTBERRY processes customer’s personal data legally and in good faith;
Categories of personal data processing
The categories of personal data depend on the services and products used by the customer. SIA BESTBERRY is entitled to process the following categories of personal data:
Data submitted by the customer to SIA BESTBERRY;
Name, surname, personal identification number or date of birth;
Mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address;
Bank details;
Video surveillance recordings and images;
Communication data. Contact details. Information from the e-mail address – correspondence related to the customer’s communication with the company;
Cookies – data on visiting the website of SIA BESTBERRY.
If the customer does not want to allow the use of cookies, the customer can change permissions in their browser settings, but in that case the use of the site may be restricted:
Data, time, amount of internet browsing.
Basis of personal data processing
Customer consent. The customer, as a personal data subject, gives his / her consent (data subject’s consent) to the collection and processing of personal data for specific purposes. The customer’s consent is given voluntarily and independently and may be given / revoked at any time, thus giving SIA BESTBERRY the permission to process personal data. Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing or the quality of the services received based on the consent prior to the withdrawal.
SIA BESTBERRY legitimate interests, which are based on the offer of quality services. SIA BESTBERRY has the right to process the customer’s personal data in the amount that is objectively necessary and sufficient to ensure timely, high-quality, convenient service. Exercise of the public interest or official authority. SIA BESTBERRY is entitled to process personal data. In such cases, the basis for the processing of personal data is included and described in regulatory enactments.
When processing the customer’s personal data, SIA BESTBERRY may perform profiling to award bonuses in order to send automated individual offers, which are offered only for business purposes and will not create legal consequences for the customer.

For concluding and executing a contract with the customer.
To assess the customer’s ability to perform contractual obligations.
For efficient cash flow management, including administration of customer payments and debts.
To provide technical support in connection with the services provided.
For the purposes of video surveillance and protection of the legitimate interests of SIA BESTBERRY (ensuring security of property).
To promote the development of the industry and offer new services.
For statistical data processing and market analysis.
Collection of personal data
SIA BESTBERRY collects the customer’s personal data when the customer:
Purchases and uses products or services from SIA BESTBERRY;
Participates in competitions, lotteries or surveys;
Visits or browses SIA BESTBERRY websites;
Is recorded with a video surveillance device;
SIA BESTBERRY and their authorized persons, based on the General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679, are entitled to process the customer’s personal data received from third parties (e.g. from a leasing company), if the customer has agreed to it.

Personal data storage period
SIA BESTBERRY is entitled to process and store personal data:
Until the customer’s consent to the processing of personal data is revoked;
During the required term for the realization and protection of the legitimate interests of SIA BESTBERRY;
The term of storage of personal data is specified in regulatory enactments;
There is a contractual obligation between the client and SIA BESTBERRY;
Until the purpose of the use of the personal data is reached, as provided at the time of the collection of data.
Sharing of personal data
SIA BESTBERRY shares the customer’s personal data only in the necessary and sufficient amount in accordance with the requirements of regulatory enactments and taking into account the objective circumstances of the specific situation.
If necessary, SIA BESTBERRY may transfer the customer’s personal data to SIA BESTBERRY authorized persons on the basis of the General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 and / or partners, agents, service providers involved in ensuring and improving the quality of products and services ordered or used by the customer.
SIA BESTBERRY is entitled to transfer the customer’s personal data to law enforcement agencies, other state and local government authorities, if it follows from regulatory enactments or a request for information from the relevant authority.
Protection of personal data
In order to protect the customer’s personal data from unauthorized access, accidental loss, destruction or disclosure, SIA BESTBERRY uses modern technologies, complies with technical and organizational requirements.
SIA BESTBERRY carefully verifies all authorized persons, partners, agents, service providers, company employees who process the customer’s personal data, as well as evaluates the application of appropriate security measures and storage of personal data in accordance with the requirements of regulatory enactments.
SIA BESTBERRY is not responsible for any unauthorized access to personal data and / or loss of personal data, if it is not dependent on SIA BESTBERRY (e.g. it has occurred due to the customer’s fault and / or negligence).
Customer’s rights
The customer has the right to refuse to receive commercial communications at any time and to object to the profiling of his / her personal data.
Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing of the personal data or the quality of the services received based on the consent prior to the withdrawal.
The customer has the right to correct all his /her personal data at the company’s disposal.
The customer has the right to request the deletion or restriction of the processing of personal data, the processing of which is no longer necessary in accordance with the purposes for which they were collected and processed (“Right to be Forgotten”) by submitting an application.
The customer has the right to obtain information about the natural or legal persons who have received information about this customer.
The customer has the right to receive or transfer his / her personal data to another data controller (“data portability”). This right includes only such data the customer has submitted to SIA BESTBERRY on the basis of consent or contract and if the processing is carried out automatically. In order to exercise the above rights, it is necessary to submit a written application.
